Big sister

Ever since we found out we were having another baby we told Logan she was going to be a big sister. As my belly grew she would talk to it and shake it and say wake up Caiden. We talked about his arrival for the whole 9 months. So when I went into Labor on feb 13, we called David parents to come over. We kissed Logan and  said goodbye. I was feeling a little sad because it was the first time we had ever left her over night. After giving birth to Caiden, on the 14th of Feb, Logan  took a trip on the bus with Oma to come visit us at the hospital. I was a little nervous how she was going to react  to her new brother. We put Caiden in the bassinet so my arms would be empty and she could jump in bed with me a give me a hug.

When she finally arrived she came in with a big smile and jumped into bed with me and gave me the big hug I was waiting for. Then she noticed Caiden at the end of the bed in his bassinet, she stood up and looked at him. It  was really cute. We asked her if she wanted to hold her new brother, she said she did. We put him on her lap and she was loving it. I had ordered shirts for both of them one saying big sister Logan and his said little brother Caiden they looked really cute wearing them together.

Before Caiden was born we took Logan to buy buy baby ( one of her favorite stores) to buy a blanket for him, so she could bring it to the hospital we told her she could pick any color, she choose a pink  one
( he does not have enough pink things already) She brought it with her to the hospital and was so happy to give it to him. There was a present waiting for her that Caiden picked out for her. She unwrapped and it was a baby doll. She loved it!! After awhile of her looking at him and holding him off and on it was time for her to go back home. The meeting of her brother for the first time went so well!

When it was time for us to come home for the hospital she had made blue cupcakes with Goose and she was so excited for us to be home with her new brother. She is great big sister that loves her brother, Although we are now using a lot of words like careful, be gentle a lot more now.
